Tamaroa Fire Protection District responded to 15 calls in 2018 - 11.8 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Tamaroa included 12 fires - five structure fires, three vehicle fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $22,000 in fire loss - or about $1,833 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The Tamaroa Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $57,791 in 2018.
